Dobbie Longlist

"The Nita B Kibble Literary Awards for Women Writers recognise the works of women writers who have published fiction or non-fiction classified as 'life writing'. This includes novels, autobiographies, biographies, literature and any writing with a strong personal element." The Dobbie Award is for a first time published author. An Ordinary Epidemic has made this year's longlist.

Self Publishing Forum at Katoomba

As part of the Sydney Writers' Festival, May 21st The Blue Mountains City Library and Varuna are holding a morning of panel discussions on self-publishing. Should be interesting!
